Houston—Surge Homes revealed their newest development—The Isabella at Midtown, a $42 million, 208-unit community located in Houston’s Midtown neighborhood. Expected delivery for this affordable condominium project is December 2019.
The mid-rise community is located at 4001 Main St., at the intersection with Isabella Street. Buyers can choose between lofts, one- to three-bedroom condos or penthouses with up to three bathrooms and sizes that range from 420 square feet to 1,880 square feet. All condos come with private, reserved parking in the building’s gated garage. Other amenities include an interior courtyard with a pool, fitness center and an owner’s lounge fitted with a fully-equipped kitchen and big-screen TV accessible from the pool. Prices per unit will range between $150,000 to the $600,000.
“The Isabella represents an opportunity to own a home and build wealth, instead of giving money to a landlord. It’s also an opportunity to move in from the suburbs and enjoy Houston’s best restaurants, culture and entertainment. Midtown home values are rising fast and affordable ownership in Houston’s most vibrant neighborhood will soon be a thing of the past,” Ben Lemieux, co-owner of Surge Homes, said in prepared remarks.
The condos offer a collection of 70 professionally coordinated interior design packages for kitchens and bathrooms. Furthermore, every home will be equipped with all kitchen appliances, as well as washer and dryer connections. In addition, every condo will include Surge Homes’ Quality Assurance Program comprising a 10-year transferable 2-10 Home Buyer Warranty and Master Insurance Program for the duration of the 10-year warranty.
The location of the new community is quite convenient, surrounded by a plethora of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues, complemented by a Walk Score of 84 out of 100. The METRORail passes in front of the building on Main, while the Ensemble/HCC Station SB is also in close proximity providing direct connection to downtown, the Texas Medical Center and the NRG Stadium.
The Isabella at Midtown is the fourth Surge Homes community, following Parc at Midtown, Upper Richton and Museum BLVD. It is the company’s second new condominium development to offer ownership in Midtown. The other is Parc at Midtown, which was named the fastest-selling “attached new residential subdivision” in all of Harris County by Meyers Research LLC in August 2016.
“As the first builder to sell and build affordable, space-efficient condos of less than 500 square feet in Houston, we are pleased that Houstonians have been so receptive to our innovative designs that our company is now launching a third development of this type,” added Lemieux.
