Prospective buyers can now sign-up for the VIP reservation program through which they can join a waiting list to get first pick of a residence. To participate, prospective buyers must buy a certificate for$1,900 that goes into escrow and applies to the final purchase price of the home under contract. The VIP certificate is fully refundable if the prospective buyer doesn't buy a home.

"Houston's Inner Loop real estate market is clearly moving more and more towards affordable, worry-free new condos in sought-after areas offering walkability. It is the hottest residential product in the city right now," Ben Lemieux, co-owner of Surge Homes, said in a statement.

Museum Blvd. is the third of several Surge Homes communities slated to open in the Inner Loop.
