HOUSTON – Surge Homes, an innovative real estate developer and builder, announced that it has hired Alain Johnson as Director of Multifamily Construction. In this role, Mr. Johnson will oversee construction for Surge Homes’ new condominium developments. As the firm grows, Mr. Johnson will take on a supervisory role and oversee other builders working on multifamily developments for Surge Homes.
Prior to joining Surge Homes, Mr. Johnson was the project manager at Thompson Thrift Development/Construction where he successfully managed the construction of a 190-unit luxury apartment complex in Missouri City, as well as a 324-unit complex in Corpus Christi. He was also the Regional Vice President-San Antonio for Western Rim Property Services/Newport Customer Homes where he oversaw all construction personnel and operations in the San Antonio market. For nearly eight years, Mr. Johnson was also the owner/president of Laurentian Development, a commercial, multifamily, and residential developer.

Surge Homes is developing new condominiums, as well as new single-family homes and new townhomes on 10 sites throughout Houston’s Inner Loop, including the Museum District and Midtown. The new homes range from $150,000 to $1.5 million.
