HOUSTON - (Oct. 28, 2016) - Surge Homes earns the ENERGY STAR designation with its commitment to build high-grade, energy-efficient homes. The Environmental Protection Agency’s ENERGY STAR program recognizes products that save and use energy wisely.
New homes with the ENERGY STAR designation are designed and built to energy-efficient standards that are well above typical homes on the market today. In addition to its designation for new homes, ENERGY STAR identifies and promotes energy-efficient products, such as major appliances, lighting and home electronics. To that end, Surge Homes’ townhomes and single-family homes feature programmable thermostats and light-emitting diode (LED) technology, as well as ENERGY STAR-designated appliances and fans.
