To continue building excitement for its planned residential communities and engage prospective buyers looking for a new single-family home, new townhome, or condo for sale, Surge Homes, an innovative real estate developer and builder, held an online process asking future home owners to share their preferences for various homes for sale, including floor plans, finishes, and design. Participants who indicated their preferences were then entered in the Furniture Credit Sweepstakes for a chance to win a $5,000 furniture credit at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. Elisabeth Garza from Houston won the draw for the furniture credit. As per the contest rules, Garza is not obligated to purchase a home, but says she is planning ahead.
“I’m looking to hopefully purchase a home within the next year to two years and I love the home plans I've seen from (Surge Homes). I was extremely intrigued by the locations and structure of the homes,” Garza said. “I'm still a bit shocked about winning the prize but I'm very, very excited!”
Surge Homes has pushed the envelope for innovation by creating an interactive online community at http://www.SurgeHomes.com whereby prospective buyers can browse each one of Surge Homes’ development sites to learn more about the proposed real estate for sale (condos, townhomes, single-family), amenities, and neighborhoods.
Further, visitors are encouraged to share their preferences, from square footage and price to type of new home, so that the developer can understand what Houstonians want and build communities that meet their preferences, needs, and expectations.
Surge Homes expects to develop about 450 homes for sale across the 9 selected sites. The homes will range from $150,000 to $1.5 million, providing a price, style, and community for everyone.
