HOUSTON – December 30, 2015 – Surge Homes, an innovative real estate developer and builder with seven residential projects inside Loop 610 and one in nearby Spring Branch, announced the commencement of a series of new home developments on two sites. Upper Richton in Upper Kirby and Parc at Midtown in Midtown are currently undergoing site development work. The activity includes the demolition of old structures; site clean-up; and the construction of underground utilities for water, sewer, conduits for electricity, and paving.
“When site development begins, you don't see vertical structures built immediately because there is a lot of underground work that has to be completed before homes can be constructed. This part of the process requires days without rain, but early in 2016, people will see vertical construction on each site," said David Modlin, VP Development and Construction at Surge Homes.
