Surge Homes Creates a Comprehensive Quality Assurance Program

HOUSTON – December 30, 2015 – Surge Homes, an innovative real estate developer and builder, announced the formation of the comprehensive Surge Homes Quality Assurance Program for all of its new homes being built on sites throughout Houston’s Inner Loop and in Spring Branch. The program is comprised of three layers: The Surge Homes Quality Process, The 10-year Home Buyers Warranty, and The Master Insurance Program.

The Surge Homes Quality Process ensures quality in the design and construction of each new townhome, new condominium, and new single family home. This process is comprised of five steps. First, all of Surge Homes properties are designed by professional architects and the construction plans are reviewed and certified by registered engineers. Second, a third-party firm reviews all construction processes and protocols. Third, Surge Home uses its own in-house team of dedicated construction managers. Fourth, all homes are inspected by the City of Houston. Finally, all homes are subject to Surge Homes quality control inspections.

All of Surge Homes properties come with an insurance-backed 10-year warranty from the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty®, the nation's largest warranty program. While the majority of builders in Houston offer warranty programs backed only by their own business, Surge Homes goes further and provides a greater peace of mind to its buyers through the additional backing of the 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty®. The third-party backing is paramount in new home construction because it means that if the buyer is not satisfied with the quality and speed of response of the builder, he or she is able to call upon the most respected home warranty service in the business. The Master Insurance Program is the third and last layer of the program. It ensures that every one of Surge Homes new homes are built by qualified subcontractors and that all communities are covered by master insurance programs managed by a professional risk management services provider. This coverage guarantees that the work of every entity involved in the construction of the home is insured for the full duration of the builder's responsibility during construction and after the home is delivered.
